Date: Wednesday May 18

Time: 13:00 – 14:30 CEST (12 – 13:30am BST)

Join us, with discussants Thomas Gelin from Greenpeace and Ned Molloy from Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC), for our first network-wide policy discussion to discuss the REPowerEU policy – the EU’s energy policy response to the Ukraine-Russia war.

We will debate over whether, and how, to react to the policy and the war as a grassroots based network and discuss connected issues such as flight reduction, agro-fuels avoidance, energy sources, framing all sources of fossil fuels – not just Russian ones – as problematic.

Format:

Introductions and facilitation: Daniela and Stephanie from Stay Grounded

Remarks from Discussants: Ned Molloy from Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC) & Thomas Gelin from Greenpeace

Debate: Amongst network members and discussants
